Founded in 1993 by Jagmohan Jayara, India House Restaurants has become a well-known name for Indian food in the Chicago area. Starting in Schaumburg, we expanded to Downtown Chicago, Hoffman Estates, and Naperville, sharing the rich flavors of Indian cooking.
Our menu is carefully put together, offering a variety of traditional dishes. Whether you’re enjoying our signature curries, warm naan, or popular street food, every meal is made with quality ingredients and care.
Our other creation is Bombay Chopsticks, featuring Indo-Chinese cuisine. At our locations, guests can experience both authentic Indian dishes and Indo-Chinese flavors in one place, bringing together the best of both culinary worlds.

The sizzling chicken tikka was phenomenal. Perfect tenderness on the chicken and right amount of masala. The garlic nan and onion bhaji was also some of the best we’ve had. Bhangan bhartha was also delicious. The vibe was also very posh and cozy.
